To get more from shareyourroute.com by firstly heading to Find A Walk and double click on one of the icons . Immediately you’ll see the title of the walk and a photo. If you want to know more then click on the blue text and the link will take you to a map with more detailed information.

Once you’ve picked a walk and you arrive at the start of the route expand the map to full screen mode () on your phone. Next click on the geolocator icon () which will show your position in relation to the route.

Now, as you walk the route you can see exactly where you are located on the map so it’s really much harder to get lost.

Also as you walk the route only photos associated with the visible portion of the map are displayed. Click on the photo for a more detailed view.

On the left hand image we have nearly half the route visible and many photos. On the righthand side we have expanded the map and only one image relates to this section of the map. We have clicked on the icon (for drink) and the image associated with it has popped up.

Select this icon and you can choose other views of the map like Outdoors or Satellite.
